Year4 Chapter Stories with a problem/issue/dilemma
Hi Year 3,
Year 4 are finishing their chapter stories with a dilemma. The children read a poem about doing a bad thing by Alan Ahlberg. They then created a story based on that poem. We have posted it on this blog for you to read and enjoy. The children have worked very hard to create these stories in pairs.
Once I did the most terrible thing – By Ethan and Ashley (This is about breaking a window)
Once I did a bad thing – By Michelle and George (This is about stealing money for a mouse)
Once I did a bad thing – By Joe and Laksiya (This is about stealing money for a Nintendo DS)
Once I did a bad thing – by Ellenjoy and Shane (This is about stealing fairyfloss)

Dear Year 4,
Today for shared reading, we read one of your chapter stories. It was written by Ethan and Ashley. The whole class laughed very hard as we all found the story very funny and entertaining. It was especially funny when the boy was ’shaking like a volcano’. We thought that you made great use of language in your writing and we also learnt that sometimes when you think you have a big problem like Ethan did, things don’t always turn out so bad. Luckily his dad was very forgiving. We are looking forward to read the rest of your stories.

HI Ethan, Ashley and Michelle, George and Joe and Laksiya. I loved your storys so far I havent read them all yet, but I hoping to see some more. I have never read chapter books so amazing before. I don’t know how you do it but I am going to get my mum and dad to comment it’s that good.

I’ve read all of your wonderful stories. Your stories were enjoyable to read. I loved them especially because they had chapters.
