Dear Year 4, It has been wonderful to read the positive comments you have been making about Ryan’s narrative and we are really enjoying reading the narratives that you are posting for us to share. This week we would like to share with you a narrative written by Elijah which we are sure you will all enjoy. It is called “The Unknown Package”. Year 4 are finishing their chapter stories with a dilemma. The children read a poem about doing a bad thing by Alan Ahlberg. They then created a story based on that poem. We have posted it on this blog for you to read and enjoy. The children have worked very hard to create these stories in pairs.

Australian Sites

Year 3 have just finished learning about narratives. Ryan a student in our class would like to share a narrative that he wrote all by himself. The title of his story is ‘The Beach’. The Beach

Welcome to your brand new blog ‘Australia We’re Standing In It’. This is a really exciting place to visit because you will be networking with a class of Year 4 students from the United Kingdom. Mr Abad who works in London is currently teaching Year 4. Shortly he will be inviting his students to visit this blog to find out everything you know about significant sites around Australia. I am sure his students will have lots of interesting questions. They are learning to create electronic storybooks about Australia so you will have to share lots of information with them.

To help them get started I have placed a Vodpod on our sidebar with some short videoclips about some significant sites around Australia. Welcome Mr Abad and Year 4!!!
